Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a surprisingly complicated topic which is often poorly understood by those who offer it. Here at Stkildadentist we offer safe and effective treatments with the aim of providing you with a smile as bright as Luna Park’s in as short a time as possible!

We keep up to date with the scientific literature to make sure we can deliver optimal results for our patients tailored to their individual needs and requirements. We offer take home whitening treatments so you can brighten your smile in the comfort of your own home as well as one appointment in-surgery whitening sessions for when you need to get results faster!

Before any whitening we will need to conduct an exam of your teeth and gums to check you are suitable for bleaching and to check the health of your teeth and gums. Some types of staining respond poorly to bleaching and may take longer to whiten. We will let you know before you begin if this is the case for you. Also, if you have cavities in your teeth, or if you have areas of gum recession then sometimes these areas can be very sensitive to bleaching and it may be best to treat these areas before whitening.
